Introducing Tesserae Supply: A New Chapter for Our Wholesale Brand

Big news — our wholesale brand has a new name and look!

I’m so excited to finally share what I’ve been working on behind the scenes. Our wholesale business is now officially called Tesserae Supply 🤍

This rebrand doesn’t mean anything about how we operate is changing — the same team is behind every order, the same products you love are here, and our commitment to supporting your business is as strong as ever. The only thing that’s new is the name and the look — and both feel exactly right.

Why We Rebranded

When I started this business, it made sense to piggyback off of my already-established retail brand. Over time though, I realized that having a wholesale name so similar to my retail brand was creating confusion for both new and existing customers. I wanted to give each brand its own clear identity — one focused on jewelry made to live in, and the other focused on the supplies that help you bring your own jewelry dreams to life.

This change allows each space to shine in its own way. Our wholesale business has always been about empowering other makers, and now it finally has a name and identity that reflect that purpose.

The Meaning Behind Tesserae

This name is incredibly special to me.

When I started brainstorming new names, I knew I wanted something that captured who we are — a small piece of your big dreams.

We provide the supplies, and you use them to build your dream business and life. We’re one small part of your larger picture, and that’s exactly what Tesserae means.

If you could’ve seen my Google searches while I was trying to find the perfect word, they looked a little something like this:

“another word for tiny pieces”
“small parts words”
“list 25 synonyms for small”
“list 25 other words for puzzle piece”
“list 25 other words for behind the scenes”

I had never heard the word tesserae before. But when I came across it, everything clicked.

It took me back to the beautiful tile mosaics I saw while traveling in Portugal last year — walls and streets covered in intricate patterns made up of hundreds of tiny pieces. Each tile on its own might seem simple, but together, they create something breathtaking.

No single tile feels more important than the other, but if one is missing, you notice.

The same is true for your business — the name, logo, customer experience, pop-up setup, color palette, supplies, and charm offerings all work together to create your brand’s full picture.

Tesserae represents one of those small yet essential pieces that help you bring your entire vision to life.
